$7,000 1985 GMC Regular Cab, Long Bed. Clear Oklahoma Title in my name, current tag and registration. This has been my daily for last couple years or so. Needs some more TLC. Odometer reads 06358.4 - there is no 6th digit - truck odometer has probably turned over at least once. The original engine was replaced when odometer read 500 miles. So there are about 5900 miles on the rebuilt engine. The new engine is a rebuilt SBC 350 ci engine. Engine has an Edelbrock performer intake and Edelbrock carb. AC blows cold – new condenser, lines and dryer. Heat blows hot. Led headlights. New exhaust and mufflers. New alternator. New shocks all away around. Added a set of helper leaf springs on rear. New battery. New tires (they have about 5900 miles on them). Vehicle was painted summer of 2024 – this is not a show truck – daily driver. I would call this a 20 footer -- looks real good at 20 foot but as you get closer there are imperfections in paint and body. Rust was removed – there was no heavy cancer on truck – all surface rust. Known issues: Needs a headliner, Volt meter in instrument cluster does not work, radio wiring under dash has a “short” either the plug or where previous owner wired in after market speakers. You can move wires and radio will come on till you hit a bump. Developed an alternator belt whine at low idle after alternator replaced. Speedometer cable needs greased. This is/was a work in progress, my daily driver….. may have other issues not noticed as of date.
