No. The price you see listed is the price set by the private seller. Unlike some sites, we never add a “buyer’s premium” or mark up the price.
No! The only fee involved is the seller’s initial per-vehicle listing fee. We guarantee total transparency in our business model.
We are an Arizona-based business with national reach. You can buy or sell vehicles from anywhere within the United States.
No, we are purely a listing platform. All negotiations happen directly between the buyer and the seller. If a seller choose a Featured Plus listing, we will handle the emails from potential buyers for them to streamline the communication process, but we will not get involved in the negotiation process. We do not get involved with payment or take possession of the vehicle at any time.
The buyer and seller handle these logistics directly. We recommend using licensed and bonded escrow services and reputable classic car shippers for safety. Buyers can get a free, no-obligation shipping quote by filling out the form on the vehicle listing page.
We are a listing service, not a transaction guarantor. However, we provide Guidelines and Best Practice links on our “Resources” page for both Buyers and Sellers that give tips on things to do during the negotiation and purchase process to avoid bad situations.
We offer 3 listing levels you can choose from based on the level of promotion and support you desire. The one time, per-vehicle listing fee is paid at the time of listing approval and is non-refundable.
Standard – $49
Featured – $150
Featured Plus – $250
You will create an account, upload high-quality photos and vehicle details, and submit your listing. Once your listing is approved, you will be invoiced for your one-time, per vehicle listing fee. Once payment is received, your listing will go live.
Yes! You can edit your Listing Title, Price, Photos and Vehicle Description at any time through the My Account page until your vehicle is marked as sold.
Buyers will contact you directly via email by using the “Contact Seller” button on your listing. If you prefer an alternative method of communication, you can indicate that in the Description section of the listing.
No. Nearly all classic vehicle transactions are sold “As-Is, Where-Is” unless you and the buyer agree otherwise in a separate, legally binding contract.
Listings typically remain active until sold or removed by the seller or a Find a Classic team member. Find a Classic has to review and approve every listing prior to publication. If changes are made to a listing after publication that do not comply with our Terms of Use, we will contact you to make the necessary changes. If required changes are not made, the listing will be removed.
Yes, browsing listings and contacting sellers is completely free for buyers. You can contact a seller without creating a free account but creating one will allow you to save your favorite vehicles which can be accessed on your “My Account” page for easy reference.
Use the “Contact Seller” button on the vehicle’s listing page to email them directly with questions and/or an offer. If you don’t receive a response in a timely manner, please email us at info@findaclassic.com or use the form on the “Contact Us” page and we will follow-up with them directly to encourage them to respond or indicate if their vehicle has been sold.
We encourage all buyers to perform due diligence. We highly recommend obtaining third-party inspections, reviewing vehicle history reports, and personally verifying all documentation before finalizing a purchase.
We do not offer in-house financing or insurance. However, we may feature links on our website to trusted third-party partners who specialize in classic vehicle loans and coverage that you can contact for information and rates.
Find a Classic does not have any buyers fees. You will pay the seller directly for the agreed purchase price of the vehicle and you will also be responsible for other fees that are incurred when purchasing a vehicle (e.g., government fees and taxes, registration and titling fees, etc.). It is always a good idea to understand what these fees will be before agreeing to the vehicle purchase to avoid any surprises.
