1970 Karmann Ghia custom vehicle. This is being sold as a project due to my Father being unable to complete. He built this one of a kind, all steel, Custom Ghia. Powered by a Ford 5.0 V8, T5 manual transmission, and an 8" rear, this VW can move! This car has a custom round tube chassis extended 5" from firewall forward. More features include a Mustang II front cross member, Wildwood 10 1/2" disc brakes, rear triangular 4 bar custom 4 link in rear w/Ford racing 11" drum brakes, and the differential is 3.40 Trac Loc. The body shell was fitted and welded to chassis custom fabrication to floor (unibody) front sheet metal cut off at firewall and remounted as a tip up (AKA, Jaguar XKE) 5" Forward making the body 6" longer overall. This required extensive metal shaping. The interior is fitted with a 1960 Impala dash with Classic Instruments gauges and has power leather seats. This car runs great with only 30 miles on it since the build, so it will need a shake down inspection as any custom build would need with this much modification. This Ghia will need some paint and interior finishing, but here is your opportunity to finish it to your liking and take advantage of this one of a kind custom Ghia.
